The Bayou Classic slashed about 45 minutes to an hour off of my brew time. Got three gallons of water to a boil in only one half of the time of my kitchen range, and held a good strong boil for an hour. If you're a homebrewer looking to leave the stovetop, and head over to a backyard propane cooker, this is the one to buy.

Sure the paint burns off. It boiled about 6.5 gals in just over 20 minutes. Get it to a boil then turn it down and it will hold the boil with out using too much gas. The valve on the hose works very well. It is loud but I like that because I had the wind blow it out 1 time and you could tell because it quieted way down.

It is surprisingly sturdy with 7 gallons on it. I am happy with it. If you're planning on using this in home brewing it works awesome.
